Title: Rector / Bishop – EACA
Church: All Saints Parish
Phone Number: 805-794-6196
Bio: Born and raised in Trenton, MI. I belonged to the Episcopal Church and grew up in its Grace and Truth. I began processing a call to ministry in High School, but parked this call for secular education and worldly career ideals. I was married and am blessed by two beautiful, now fully grown, children. I attended and Graduated from The University of Michigan, BGS and Psychology/Religion. Calls don’t really go away, they must be dealt with. Sent to seminary by my Episcopal Bishop, Graduated M.Div 1987 and ordained Deacon and Priest in Episcopal Church, USA. In the continuing struggle to come to terms with my sexuality, I was divorced and left The Episcopal Church in order to life my life more honestly and with personal integrity. Incardinated into the EACA, 1997 and began the mission parish, All Saints, Ventura, CA. I am blessed to again be married, this time to an amazing man who completes me and surrounds me with the love I crave everyday. In February 2017, I was honored to be called as a bishop to serve the people and congregations of EACA, and to serve with my fellow bishops. My husband and I live in Costa Mesa, CA with our dog, Paris.

The Rev. Susan Draag
Address: Linton, IN
Title: EACA Communication Director
Bio: Born in Bronx, New York, March 3, 1946 to very strict Roman Catholic family.  As a teenager, left the RC church and struggled for many years trying to find a church home that would accept my sexuality. Attended SUNY F’dale Ag & Tech College majoring in agronomy, joined the Peace Corps in Bolivia, South America, after attending Utah State Univ. for Peace Corps Training.  Upon returning, worked many jobs over the years and finally actually came out in 1978. In 1996, God lead me to the EACA. I was ordained a Deacon in 1997, a priest in 2007. I am retired and working part time for Walmart. I currently live in Linton, Indiana (lived in New York, North Carolina and Tennessee), I have had very high paying jobs and very low menial jobs. I have been around the block several times and had it not been for my friends and colleagues in the EACA, I would have not survived. Life is very good.
The Rev. Stephen Sale
Address: Dallas, Texas
Title: Deacon
Church: St. Thomas Church
Bio: I grew up in Texas, leaving for a year when we lived in Morocco while my father taught at the University of Rabat. A cradle Episcopalian, I put off the call to ordained ministry and joined the U. S. Navy following graduation from the University of North Texas. I served for 31 years as an active duty Naval Officer and six years as a senior civilian. Throughout the 37 years that I served as a military leader and mentor, I sought to act as a responsible steward to those I led and served. The lesson of serving Christ in all persons is a commitment that is both consistent with my baptismal covenant and with my oath to my country. The call remained, and the return to Dallas in 2013 allowed me to resume a call that had been deferred for over 40 years. Attending the Episcopal diocese of Dallas Stanton Center for three years, and Perkins School of Theology at SMU, aided in my formation. Ministries here in Dallas are focused on the Homeless and Hungry, and I work with The Gathering and The Bridge as well as serving at St Thomas.
The Rev. Russell Van Hoose

I have been involved in Christian ministry since 1991 and have served as parish staff in the United Methodist Church and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). I was ordained in 2009 and have been affiliated with the EACA since 2011.
The Rev. Paula Gonzalez
Address: Albuquerque, NM
Title: Deacon
Church: Rising Sun Christian Community
Bio: Having loved the Holy Father and His Son Jesus Christ since a young age, I didn’t know what it meant to truly allow Jesus to be Lord of my life until I was baptized in His name at 31 years of age. Having walked with Him these last two decades has allowed me to grow spiritually and develop in ways that I could never have imagined for myself. I am currently in formation to become a Deacon and hope to be ordained in early 2018. My career goal is to be a Chaplain in order to provide spiritual comfort and guidance to hospital/hospice patients and their caregivers. Should the Lord will that I provide spiritual guidance to women in prison, I will gladly go there as well.

The Rev. Kevin Everett
Title: Priest
Church: Chapel of the Holy Spirit; also affiliated with The First United Methodist Church, Belen, NM
Bio: I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and I grew up in a Christian home. Having confessed my faith in Christ at an early age, I committed my life to ministry at the age of sixteen and pursued an education in theology and ministry. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Donna for thirty years, and we have four grown children, and one grandchild. I served as a pastor of Baptist churches for over twenty years in Oklahoma and Texas, however, my theology became more sacramental and I sought a place of ministry where I could serve and be true to my convictions. In 2014, I was ordained as a deacon and then as a priest in apostolic succession as part of The International Free Protestant Episcopal Church, which was part of the Anglican Free Communion. In 2018, this jurisdiction had become very small and the bishop dissolved it. In December 2018, I sought incardination in the EACA. I completed a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2001 and have done work toward a Ph.D with the Graduate Theological Foundation and the continuing education department of Oxford University through the Summer Theology Program at Christ Church College, Oxford. I have served as a correctional chaplain since 2015, and I am currently a chaplain with the New Mexico Corrections Department, serving at the Penitentiary of New Mexico in Santa Fe.
