Bio: The Chapel of the Holy Spirit has been a vibrant and active part of Albuquerque's faith community for 20+ years! Originally planted by Rev. Father Rusty Smith in 1998-1999, the chapel has grown from one or two smiling faces to many families and friends; and we continue to grow. We've been active partners with St. Martin's Hospitality Center in outreach to Albuquerque's homeless. We continue to be active participants and supporters of Albuquerque Pride. Located in Scottsdale Village, 3107 Eubank NE # 15, Albuquerque 87111 (Eubank and Candelaria next to Fu Yuang Chinese Restaurant).

We are an intimate inclusive Anglican Catholic faith community within the Evangelical Anglican Church in America. We believe in the sacredness of all creation and welcome all to our worship. Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday morning at 11am.

Bio: Our new Canon to the Ordinary is Dr. Paul McCright.  He was born in Texarkana, AR and raised in Hooks, TX.  He is an industrial engineer, holding a BS from Texas Tech, an MS from Arizona State, and a PhD from Stanford University.  His specialty area is engineering management and organization control.  He is single, having lost his life-partner Jim in 2011.  After retiring from 21 years as a faculty member at the University of South Florida and 5 years at Kansas State University, he now works as an Executive Vice President at a start-up technology company in Dallas, Texas.  He is eternally grateful for the love, support, and spiritual guidance he has received as a member of EACA since November, 2008.  Previous spiritual affiliations were with Baptist Churches and Metropolitan Community Churches, where he served on the board of directors at three different congregations.

Bio: Father Christopher J. Duffie is a native of Georgia. Answe ring the call to ministry very young in life, Father Chris earned a degree in Religion from Faith Evangelical College and Seminary, Tacoma, Washington. Currently, he is working to earn a Masters of Divinity from Payne Theological Seminary. While attending Faith Seminary, Father Chris developed a deep love for liberation theology.  That love lead to his journey of justice and inclusion of All people.

Bio: I was born and raised in Montana. I eventually ended up in Chicago in 1969 and started working for the Sisters of the Good Shepherd at their boarding school for juvenile delinquent girls. I worked there for 4 years. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern Illinois University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Jane Addams College of Social Work in Chicago. I lived in Chicago for 20 years. I moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1988 and have lived there since. I became licensed as an Independent Social Worker, with a specialty in Clinical Social Work. I am currently a psychotherapist in private practice since 1992. I joined the EACA Chapel of the Holy Spirit in 2014, coming from a Catholic background.

Bio: I was born in the U.S. Naval Hospital, at the Naval Base Port Hueneme, Ventura County, State of California.  My education was achieved in California and Europe.  My most recent was at the University Sacramento, while serving as a Civil Servant.  During which I received several commendations and awards, including but not limited to a Presidential Citation for my work with U.S. Veterans and the people at large in the State of California.

Bio: Born and raised within the Anglican tradition, Fr. Jay Mueller, originally from Liberal, Kansas is rector/vicar of Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Fr. Jay was ordained to the diaconate in 2007 at the First Parish Church in Brunswick, Maine by the Rt. Rev. Rusty Smith and the Rt. Rev. David Bellville. Two years later in August 2009 he was ordained to the priesthood at the Dominican Retreat House in Albuquerque, New Mexico by the Rt. Rev. Rusty Smith.  Fr. Jay has been active with the Chapel of the Holy Spirit faith community since its inception and was an original member of St. Stephen's Anglican Spirituality Center in Albuquerque planted by Rt. Rev. Rusty Smith in 1999. Fr. Jay's formation included coursework from the Anglican Institute of Affirmative Christian Studies.

In 1997, completed studies with Anglican Institute of Affirmative Christian Studies to prepare for Ordination to Deacon April 19, 1997 with subsequent Ordination to the priesthood following on September 27, 1997.
